If you have an ogone account default there is ISO encoding. so when someone has special characters in there name everything goes wrong, and the user can not pay. I called the government to ask if the want to rename everyone who is called Muriël or Mariët but they didn't so I had to come up with an other solution. The ogone manual says this about it: Quote:12 Appendix: UTF-8 By default, Ogone uses ISO character encoding. However, our system supports the usage of UTF-8, if the merchant calls the appropriate pages. For e-Commerce, the payment page would be https://secure.ogone.com/ncol/test/orderstandard_utf8.asp IMPORTANT: Our system cannot dynamically detect what character set the merchant is using. it is therefore the merchant's responsibility to call the appropriate page; If the merchant calls the UTF-8 payment page, all encoding for SHA will be done from an UTF-8 encoded string, for SHA-IN and for SHA-OUT. you can test your SHA integration with UTF-8 by calling the page https://secure.ogone.com...ol/test/testsha_utf8.aspIf the merchant is using Dynamic Templates, make sure to declare the UTF-8 charset in the html header. Please note that the usage of UTF-8 is mandatory for the following languages: Turkish Japanese Russian Greek Arabic This is correct, you have to change the url, However, also in ogone itself Technical information/Global security parameters you have to change the Character encoding to "UTF-8" for so far that is all you have to do for ogone, You only have to update the siennEninge now, In here I also made some changes for character encoding and ogone payments. The only problem for now is that it is only available for our developers, but it will be released for everyone soon. If you need this new Engine, you can just ask me I will send it to you. Regs Bart
