Changing the default .NET version for IIS

IIS is not different then the normal directory structure. The difference is that the objects have different trademarks.

Important to know is that it works on a base of enheriting. This means that when the root is set on .NET v 1.1, the new objects that are mode also have this version (works the same for 2.0). The trick here is to change the root map of the ISS in the wanted .NET version:

- go to the wanted .NET version directory (for example: c:\windows\microsoft.net\Framework\v.1.1.4322)

- run: aspnet_regiis -sn W3SVC/

and the job is done
